Hidden wonders
Guess what!? I go again for a new challenge in winter colors… If you don’t know yet the monthly challenge on the Lyndy’s Stamp Gang store, here are the color challenge info.
I really like this challenge because it pushes me to try new colors… It helps me to explore myself! One more step now : I decided last month to show my work and participate for real! Time again to boost myself and taking my stuff.

Some explanations (just for the underlayers cause I forgot to take pictures…)
I’m starting with my first layer : this time I try the writing method which I add white (a Micki Wilde technic). I sketched my idea before so I’m doing my girl first (yes totally unusual for me) and I add white to block her.
I add some texture now… I think I get definitly bored without it!
After that, I add birds with tranparent gel medium. Love this part of the paint.
It’s time to spray now : sea grass green, opal sea oats et cocklebells corail! The gesso texture appears… the colors are discreats so I add more layers. Love to see them mix together. There are colors I use a lot for the backrounds of my art journal but not together… next time I definitly Will! I add some cattail copper Brown : more attractive (I’m gonna used this color too for the dress and the umbrella)!
And then… I forget to take pictures… ooops! I’ve used diluted black and add some ribbing alcohol. I’ve protected the birds with petroleum jelly. For the girl : pastel and acrylique. On the dress and umbrella transfert of french tissue. Then, I’ve lot of fun with doodling some crearures of the underground.
